Sustainability Consultant
Do you have a passion for contributing to sustainable development along with an education and documented experience in CSRD reporting? Then this is your chance to join our growth journey and help us achieve our goal of becoming one of Sweden's leading sustainability advisors!
Aspia is the leading business partner in the Nordic region for accounting, payroll, tax, and business-related advisory services, and we are now seeking experienced sustainability consultants who want to drive sustainable development and support companies in their transition efforts.
Aspia's sustainability advisory team consists of strategists and analysts with diverse skills, expertise, and seniority in the sustainability field. In our team, you have excellent opportunities to develop personally and professionally while collaborating in an inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute their unique perspectives in the work we do for our clients. Together, we currently help our clients tackle their sustainability challenges in areas such as strategic advice, analysis, and reporting on regulations, legal requirements, and guidelines in the sustainability field such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GRI, and the UN's global goals.
Sustainability is one of Aspia's prioritized growth areas with a market in Sweden and the Nordic region. Our team is growing and evolving in line with our clients' needs and desires, and we want to be at the forefront to anticipate and meet tomorrow's challenges.
With new regulations and guidelines in the sustainability field related to reporting, we see an increased need for support in sustainability efforts among our clients. With us, you will have the opportunity to support both small and medium-sized enterprises in meeting growing demands from customers, financiers, and employees, as well as large companies in reporting according to the new legal requirements. We want to create the best conditions for our clients to succeed in building long-term profitable companies.
Your Role:
As a sustainability consultant, you will help our clients get started with or accelerate their sustainability efforts.
We support our clients through ongoing advice, workshops, and training. We also offer a digital management system for sustainability plans and reports where we document the work together with the client. You will work with both new and existing clients across various industries and company sizes.
In this role, you will be an important part of the team as we work closely with our client assignments. You will support clients who are both beginners and those who have well-developed sustainability efforts, and based on these fundamental conditions, you need to be solution-oriented but also structured. As sustainability consultants, we meet our clients based on their unique situations; we support, advise, propose solutions, discuss questions, and explore different areas - all to ensure that the client feels secure in their work and that they comply with current requirements and expectations.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who thrives in a consulting role and has previously worked with sustainability consulting/reporting. You have a genuine interest in sustainability and enjoy helping your clients move forward based on their needs. In summary, we see that you:
- Have at least 1-3 years of relevant and documented experience working with sustainability consulting/reporting according to CSRD and/or EU Taxonomy.
- Have good knowledge of national, European, and global sustainability regulations, guidelines, and standards, as well as their origins, purposes, and interconnections.
- Have previous experience in a consulting role and can plan and execute your work independently.
- Have a knack for or are accustomed to creating presentations, writing texts, and reports.
- Are comfortable leading workshops.
- Have a good ability to analyze data, identify patterns and potential problems, and find solutions.
To thrive in the role of Sustainability Consultant, you need to be outgoing, service-minded, and structured with the ability to plan and take initiative. It is also important that you have good communication skills, are attentive, collaborative, and solution-oriented, and can be proactive in meetings with the goal of delivering that little extra to our clients! Furthermore, the role involves a lot of writing and producing materials, which requires you to be meticulous and have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
